Spike Lee Wins First Competitive Oscar

The Oscars 2019 ceremony became a Spike Lee joint on Sunday night, as Lee won the Oscar for best adapted screenplay for BlacKKKlansman. For adapting Ron Stallworth's 2014 memoir Black Klansman about infiltrating the Ku Klux Klan, Lee shares the honot with Charlie Wachel, David Rabinowitz, and Devin Wilmott.

Starting with our two Book Reviews in October 2017 and January 2018, we released excerpts of TWISTED for review. The response and comments exceeded expectations.

We didn't release Judgment Day until spring of 2018. Since then, Judgment Day continues to be a fan favorite. So much so, that we are getting numerous request to turn the excerpt into a TV mini series, a play and most recently, a request came in for us to do live readings of not just Judgment Day but all of the excerpts.

None of this would have been possible without the dedicated support from all our devoted fans, family and friends that follow us online and throughout social media. Believe it or not, we spend countless hours checking trends online from across the country and abroad.

TWISTED is Book 1 of The Encounter Series. It is now a reality. We have a good publisher that stays in contact with us and we are passionate about making sure that before we put our product out their...that it is something that people will want to see more of.

We are counting down the days now for the anticipated release of TWISTED. We can't wait for everyone to see how much of an impact Judgment Day will have on them as they flip the pages of TWISTED not knowing what to expect next.

Until then...the Encounter Series and Carl Alan Publishing's goal is to continue to bring to you believable brain teasing stories that capture imagination.
