Valdez is Coming...

"OR PAY THE $100.00..."

This is one of my favorite western movies.

Aging town constable Bob Valdez (Burt Lancaster) is tricked into killing an innocent man by powerful rancher Frank Tanner.

Valdez believes it would be a fair gesture to raise $200 for the widow, $100 from Tanner and the rest from others in town. Tanner is livid at the suggestion.

Tanner had a choice, go to Nogales or pay the $100.00 or face Valdez. Tanner turns out to be a coward when it's time to face Valdez one-on-one.
